Overview:
The Vehicle Auction and Car Show app was created for the automotive hobbyist and the professional who restores vehicles. No matter if youre a person who has a passing interest or a full time collector this app is a must buy.

How is this app used?
This app started out as a way for me to collect photo memories of the wonderful vehicles I have seen at car shows. I was using the app on my iPhone when I was asked by a few people about the app. Over time I had people asking me to send them a copy of the app. When the iPad was released this app was at the top of my list to convert for the iPad. The conversion started out to be a simple picture gallery. Then when people saw me using it at shows, they asked me to expand it to do more than to be a picture gallery. Over the last year the app started to grow in size to include the following:
• A show scheduling and show ticket management screen.
• Obtaining directions is always a good tool so I added Maps to get exact directions.
• There may be weather issues on show day, so I added a weather forecasting screen.
• I was asked to create a vehicle data sheet screen for collection detail for vehicle information.
• This grew into a vehicle bid system for the auction vehicle buyer.
• Of course the collection of photos in many areas is required to document and catalog vehicles of interest.
• For car shows I wanted to be able to have a photo gallery with a data collection screen for each vehicle.
• Then I had a request for the app to include a directory for vehicle parts, auto service, and all sorts of vehicle vendors to include hard to find listing that are even hard to locate using search engines.
• To expand on the directory I added parts search and quote screens to compare prices for automotive items for each vendor listed in the directory. This can be used to gather bids or purchase histories for items purchased.
• The vendor directory would not be complete without a directions screen using maps to find out where the directory service or vendor is located.
• The app was sold as a custom app until now. With the release of the new iPads this app was elevated to a priority project to release in conjunction with the new iPad to use the camera and new features.

Why Use This App?
The Vehicle app is a niche market app. But I feel that this is not a reason to continue to make it a request order item. It is just too good of an app to keep on the shelf where it is sold by request. Consider the current way people collect photos and share data about their vehicle hobby.
